Wiremaster

Nothing’s Faster

Wiremaster is a simple software program for ordering wire sets and bundles. The machine-assembled wires ordered in this way help you achieve greater efficiency in control cabinet construction. The application doesn’t require long training, but instead can be used correctly right away thanks to the intuitive step-by-step process. With the ability to validate the data before it is sent, you can also double check that all the information is correct. This means the only thing left to do is hit send and lean back!

Customized and Printed

The first step

Wiremaster can create and print individual labels for each wire. These customized texts allow a control cabinet to be wired correctly without a wiring diagram and even by semiskilled personnel.

Bundled and Twisted

The second step

Wiremaster supports you in the correct configuration of your wire bundles. With features like an autobundling function, the proper twisting of the wires, and the ability to create custom bundling layouts, the automation pipelines make the production process easier.

Easy ordering

Quickly finished

Ordering from WUSTEC is extremely easy. Check the planned delivery in the bundle overview and then simply place your order at the touch of a button. You can add special requests and requirements as a message.

FAQs

We’re here to help

We understand that precision and efficiency are critical in cabinet building, and we are here to support you in the best way possible. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need more information or have specific concerns.

How can WUSTEC help me create a wire set?

Since the year 2000, we have helped many companies generate wire lists from their wiring diagram data.
Get in touch with us and our consultants and technicians will be happy to support you in creating wire lists. Simply schedule a no-obligation appointment, e.g., for a meeting via Teams.

In addition, WUSTEC offers a small online training system with many practical tips, tricks of the trade, and valuable insights from real-world experience, particularly for the efficient creation of wire lists.

Which bundling layout would you recommend? Device-oriented or, for example, from the connecting terminal plate?

The choice of the optimal bundling layout depends on the specific requirements and production efficiency. It is important to choose the layout that is easiest for your production. In general, we recommend using the largest possible bundles. A bundle of about 20 wires has proven to be optimal. It’s worth trying out different layouts to find out which one suits your needs best.

Which size of heat-shrink tubing can be processed automatically at your facility?

We have a specialized machine with a heat-shrink tubing module designed for the automated processing of heat-shrink tubing. To minimize the changeover process and maximize efficiency, we have chosen a specific heat-shrink tubing with a 1/3 shrink ratio. This special heat-shrink tubing can be used universally and is ideal for all strand cross sections between 0.5 mm² and 6 mm². This allows us to maintain a continuous and smooth production process without frequent changeovers.

How does the process work in the workshop with the wire sets and in the event of changes?

First, the control cabinet must be mechanically built and all components labeled. Afterwards, any employee, even if only semiskilled, can take the wire bundles out of the box. Thanks to the labels printed on individual wires, they can then wire the control cables without problem.

How does the installer know that they have wired all the insulated conductors?

A simple indicator is when the box is empty. It is important to note that wires that are not exported will not be correctly defined in the wiring diagram and therefore will not be routed in the control cabinet layout. With a little experience and careful planning, such errors are minimized so that every wire is routed correctly in the ECAD and then also manufactured.

Is it only possible to order via Wiremaster or is there an alternative option?

Wiremaster is our preferred ordering platform as it automates and optimizes the process. However, we also offer alternative ordering options. Please contact us for further information.

Is there any way to cancel a wire set order if I discover a mistake after the fact?

Yes, you can cancel your order. If you find an error in your order, please contact us immediately so we can stop the process and make the necessary changes.

Is Wiremaster a cloud solution? And is access subject to a fee?

Yes, Wiremaster is a cloud-based solution. You do not need a license to use Wiremaster. All you have to do is create an account at www.wiremaster.biz. The software is completely free to use.

Is cable labeling currently only possible via printing, or are other options available such as labeling grommets?

We currently offer cable labeling via printed heat-shrink tubing. We do not currently offer the installation of labeling grommets.

What are the current delivery times for a wire set?

Our current delivery times vary depending on order volumes and specifications. When it comes to stranded wire sets for control cabinet construction, we usually succeed in shipping within 48 hours. This means that the wire set usually arrives at our customer’s premises in the morning after we send the delivery out.

Do you offer training sessions for Wiremaster?

We currently do not offer any specific training sessions for Wiremaster. However, we are working on creating a small online course with Q&A webinars. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
